Greece’s producer prices declined at a faster pace in February, figures from the Hellenic Statistical Authority showed Wednesday.

The overall producer confidence index plunged 11.4 percent year-over-year in February, much faster than the 7.3 percent decrease in the previous month. Producer prices have been falling since July 2014.

Domestic market producer prices dipped 9.9 percent annually in February and prices in the foreign market tumbled by 16.0 percent.

Among the main industrial groups, energy prices fell the most by 24.6 percent in February, followed by intermediate goods sector with 3.5 percent drop.

On a monthly basis, producer prices slid at a slower pace of 0.4 percent in February, following a 3.2 percent fall in January.
