Greek Prime Minister Alexis Tsiparas is counting on odd friends to support the government has several payment deadlines looms ahead.
- After meeting with IMF chief over the weekend, Mr. Varoufakis, Greece’s finance minister is scheduled to meet senior US officials today.
- Prime Minister Mr. Alexis Tsiparas is heading for Moscow today, to discuss Russian sanctions over Greek food and fruits export to Russia. Move by Russia will be closely watched by western officials.
- Greek officials have also pledged for support to China to increase its holdings of Greek short term bills. Chinese might extend support to break a deadlock over leasing a Greek port, which has been put to halt by current government.

- April 8th – Euro group will hold discussion over Greek emergency lending assistance (ELA). Greece will auction € 1.4 billion Treasury bill.
- April 9th – Greece is required to pay IMF 0.45 billion
- April 17th – € 1.4 billion is due to creditors among which nearly 50% is held by foreign entities.
- April 19th – €194 million towards coupon payment and € 1billion repayment of Treasury bills.
- April 24th – Euro group finance ministers meeting on Greece.
