Hungary’s industrial production growth improved in August at the initially estimated pace, final figures from the Hungarian Central Statistical Office showed Wednesday.
Industrial production grew 6.2 percent year-on-year. That was in line with the flash estimate published on October 7.
However, production declined a seasonally-and-working-day adjusted 2 percent from the previous month.
Export sales grew 9 percent annually and domestic sales increased 2.5 percent.
Manufacturing output rose 7.1 percent, while mining and quarrying production tumbled 24 percent. Energy output rose 4.9 percent.
