Hungary’s industrial production growth eased sharply as estimated in July, latest figures from the Hungarian Central Statistical Office showed Monday.

Industrial production rose a working-day-adjusted 3.4 percent year-over-year in July, confirming the flash data, but much slower than previous month’s 6.0 percent gain. Unadjusted production also grew the same 3.4 percent.

The latest rate of growth was the slowest since October last year, when production had risen 1.8 percent.

On a monthly basis, industrial production fell a seasonally and working-day-adjusted 0.7 percent in July, in line with flash data.

In the first seven months of the year, total industrial production expanded 6.7 percent compared with the corresponding period last year
