Hungary’s industrial production growth quickened as initially estimated in October, final figures from the Hungarian Central Statistical Office showed Monday.
Industrial production surged a working-day-adjusted 12.7 percent year-over-year in October. That was in line with the flash estimate published on December 8. In September, the rate of climb was 7.8 percent.
On a monthly basis, industrial production rose a seasonally and working-day-adjusted 1.7 percent in October, confirming the flash data. This follows a 3.0 percent gain in the preceding month.
During the first ten months of the year, total industrial output grew 7.1 percent compared with the corresponding period last year.
