Hungary’s average gross earnings grew at a slower pace in April, the Hungarian Central Statistical Office reported Tuesday.
Average gross earnings advanced 6.4 percent in April from prior year, slower than the 6.6 percent increase seen in March.
Similarly, net earnings growth weakened to 8 percent from 8.2 percent in the previous month.
During January to April, average gross earnings grew 6.1 percent compared to the same period of the previous year. At the same time, net earnings increased 7.8 percent due to changes in personal income tax rules.
