The Indian rupee weakened against the U.S. dollar in the morning deals on Friday.
Against the greenback, the rupee fell to a 2-day low of 65.6900. At yesterday’s close, the rupee was trading at 65.5300 against the greenback.
If the rupee extends its downtrend, it is likely to find support around the 66.50 area.
Indian equity markets will be closed in observance of Gandhi Jayanthi day holiday.
