The Indian rupee weakened against the U.S. dollar in the morning deals on Monday, after RBI Governor Raghuram Rajan said he is not willing to continue at the helm of the Central bank beyond September 4.
Against the greenback, the rupee fell to nearly a 1-month low of 67.6700 from Friday’s closing value of 67.1000.
If the rupee extends its downtrend, it is likely to find support around the 68.00 area.
