Indonesia’s central bank lowered its key interest rate for a second consecutive month in February and also lowered its reserve requirement, in a bid to boost sagging growth amid lack of inflationary pressures and global uncertainties. The Board of Governors of Bank Indonesia, led by Governor Agus Martowardojo, slashed its key interest rate by a quarter-point to 7.00 percent on Thursday.
