According to Iran Oil Minister Bijan Zanganeh, the country may be open to negotiate a freeze in oil production among other major producers.
However, in order to start considering a freeze in output, Iran first aims to reach a capacity of four million barrels per day (bpd), Iran’s ISNA news agency reported on Sunday, via Reuters.
“They should leave us alone as long as Iran’s crude oil has not reached 4 million. We will accompany them afterwards,” Zanganeh was quoted as saying, Reuters reports.
