Ireland’s industrial production climbed for the fourth consecutive month in September, but at a slightly slower pace than in the prior month, preliminary figures from the Central Statistics Office showed Wednesday.
Industrial production expanded a seasonally adjusted 20.1 percent year-over-year in September, following a 20.3 percent gain in August. In July, production grew 23.1 percent.
On a monthly basis, industrial production fell 2.8 percent in September, in contrast to a 0.1 percent slight rise in the prior month.
In the three months ended September, total industrial production rose 3.9 percent compared with the previous three-month period.
