Ireland’s unemployment rate remained unchanged in April, after falling in the previous three months, data from the Central Statistics Office showed Wednesday.

The seasonally adjusted standardised unemployment rate came in at 10.0 percent in April, the same rate as in March. In February, the rate was 10.2 percent.

In the same month of the previous year, the jobless rate was 11.6 percent.

On a seasonally adjusted basis, the live register total decreased to 349,500 in April from 351,300 in the prior month.

On an unadjusted basis, the live register total figure was 343,600, which was 5,100 lower than from the preceding month.
