Italy’s construction output increased for the first time in three months in July, figures from the statistical office Istat showed Friday.
On a seasonally adjusted basis, construction production climbed 0.3 percent monthly in July, reversing a 1.2 percent decline in June. In May, production had fallen 0.7 percent.
Year-on-year, output in the construction sector decreased a calendar-adjusted 0.6 percent in July, in contrast to a 0.8 percent gain in the preceding month.
In the three months ended July, total construction production fell 1.5 percent compared with the previous three-month period.
