Hourly wages in Italy increased in February after remaining flat in the previous two months, figures from the statistical office Istat showed Wednesday.
Contractual hourly wages edged up 0.1 percent in February, after showing no variations in December and January.
On an annual basis, hourly wages climbed 0.8 percent in February, slightly faster than the 0.7 percent spike in the preceding month.
Among the main macro sectors, wages in the private sector grew 0.9 percent annually in February, while wages in the public sector remained unchanged.
