The leading index for Japan, which measures the future economic activity, dropped more than initially estimated in November, final figures from the Cabinet Office showed Monday.

The leading index was revised downward to 103.5 in November from the preliminary reading of 103.9. In October, the score was 104.2.

The coincident index that reflects the current economic activity also decreased to 111.9 in November from 113.3 in the previous month. The November’s figure was revised up from 111.6.

At the same time, the lagging index that indicates the past economic activity rose marginally to 115.6 in November from 115.5 a month earlier. This represented an upward revision from the initial estimate of 115.0.
