Japan’s official reserve assets decreased in June from the previous month, a report published by the Ministry of Finance revealed Tuesday.

Total reserve assets declined by $2.820 billion month-on-month to $1242.9 billion in June.

Foreign currency reserves totaled $1185.9 billion at the end of June. The reserve position in the International Monetary Fund was $9.421 billion.

The Special Drawing Rights (SDR) totaled $18.341 billion during June, and the value of gold reserves came in at $28.810 billion.
