Lithuania’s consumer prices continued to decline in November, though at a slower pace than in the previous month, figures from the Department of Statistics showed Tuesday.

The consumer price index dropped 0.4 percent year-over-year in November, following a 0.7 percent decrease in October. Prices have been falling since December last year.

Transport costs plunged 8.0 percent in November from a year ago and utility costs dipped by 6.2 percent. At the same time, prices of clothing and footwear grew 3.2 percent.

On a monthly basis, consumer prices rose 0.3 percent in November, slower than prior month’s 0.5 percent climb. It was the third month of increase in a row.
