Lithuania’s consumer prices declined at a stable pace in June, figures from Statistics Lithuania showed Thursday.

The consumer price index fell 0.5 percent year-over-year in June, the same rate of drop as in May. Prices have been falling since December last year.

Utility costs dipped 5.2 percent annually in June and prices of food and non-alcoholic beverages went down by 1.0 percent. At the same time, clothing and footwear prices grew 0.6 percent.

Month-on-month, consumer prices edged down 0.1 percent in June, reversing a 0.5 percent climb in the prior month. It was the first decrease in four months.
