The export value of goods in Macedonia decreased in the five months ended May, preliminary figures from the State Statistical Office showed Monday.
The export value declined to $1751.5 million in the January to May period from $1957.4 million in the corresponding period of the previous year.
The import value during the first five months of the year was $2527 million, down from $2986.8 million a year ago. Import coverage by export was 69.3 percent. Total trade deficit of the country came in at $775.4 million in the January to May period.
