Malaysia will on Monday release March numbers for industrial and manufacturing production, highlighting a modest day for Asia-Pacific economic activity.

Industrial output is expected to dip 0.3 percent on month and rise 4.5 percent on year after easing 0.1 percent on month and gaining 5.2 percent on year in February. Manufacturing production fell 0.3 percent on month and climbed 4.0 percent on year in February.

New Zealand will provide April data for credit card spending; in March, overall card spending was up 1.3 percent on month, while retail card spending added 0.8 percent.

Australia will see April results for the business confidence and conditions survey from NAB; in March, they had scores of 3 and 6, respectively.
