Mexico’s annual inflation for October was in line with economists’ expectations, figures from the statistical office INEGI showed Monday.

The consumer price index rose 2.48 percent year-on-year. In September, inflation was 2.52 percent.

Month-on-month, prices climbed 0.51 percent in October, which was broadly in line with the 0.52 percent increase economists had forecast.
