Suited for Success hosted its inaugural “All in for the Men” casino night fundraiser at the Eden Roc Resort Miami Beach on October 10, 2015. Hundreds of supporters turned out to support Suited for Success’s employment skills program for men, including members from our prestigious Men’s Advisory Board.

Guests were welcomed by a red carpet, followed by a cocktail reception with passed hors d’oeuvres and an antipasto station. Diageo provided the evening’s liquor. Attendees bid on extraordinary items in the silent auction, including “staycations” at Miami’s most luxurious hotels including the SLS, Thompson, The Sagamore, InterContinental Hotel and dining experiences from some of best restaurants in South Florida, including a 3-course pasta making class at Bocce Bar, brunch at The RitzCarlton South Beach, and a dinner for two at Wynwood Diner. The Collection donated two amazing weekend loans, a Maserati Quattroporte and a Jaguar XF. Guests also had the opportunity to bid a Rolling Stones autographed guitar, a boxing glove signed by the five “greats” and much more.

Latin sensation Arias Martin, kicked off the night with a set that stunned the audience. After Martin’s performance, Suited for Success founder and executive director Sonia Jacobson welcomed the crowd and the casino came to life, offering an array of poker, blackjack, roulette, craps tables, as well as a wheel of fortune and slot machines. Musical group Tártara kept guests on the dance floor until the end of the evening with their upbeat song list and creative energy.

Guests enjoyed supper by the bite, with a selection of petite tacos, gourmet mac and cheese combinations, nachos and sliders. Later on in the night a sundae bar and coffee station were brought out as a sweet treat. As casino play wrapped up for the evening a raffle was held, with the grand prize being a 7-night Mediterranean cruise courtesy of Royal Caribbean International.
