Montenegro’s import prices continued to decline in June, figures from the statistical office showed Tuesday.

The import price index fell 1.8 percent year-over-year in June, slightly faster than previous month’s 1.7 percent drop.

On a monthly basis, import prices edged up 0.1 percent in June, following a 0.2 percent increase in May. It was the second successive monthly rise.

At the same time, export prices climbed 0.4 percent annually in June, much slower than prior month’s 5.1 percent hike. Monthly, export prices slid 1.9 percent after falling 3.1 percent in the preceding month.
