Back in the summer of 2014, the Daily Mail revealed a woman who they speculated to be Bill Clinton’s Chappaqua mistress.  The mistress, Julie McMahon (codename: “Energizer”), was rumored to frequently visit Bill in Chappaqua sometimes staying just a couple of hours and other times for a couple of weeks depending on Hillary’s travel schedule.

She always arrives in an SUV, sometimes staying for a few hours, sometimes as long as a week — just so long as the lady of the house is away.

And, thanks to the fact that the house in question — the palatial residence of Bill and Hillary Clinton — is protected by a squad of U.S. Secret Servicemen who are in on the deception, the attractive, busty blonde can time her arrivals and departures to within minutes of those of Mrs Clinton.

The bodyguards claim they don’t know her identity, but say they are under orders neither to stop nor approach her, but to let her in. She does, however, have a codename. Every member of a family protected by the Secret Service, responsible for guarding presidents and ex-presidents, is given a codename starting with the same letter.

Given that Bill Clinton is ‘Eagle’ and Mrs Clinton is ‘Evergreen’, the special visitor was dubbed ‘Energiser’ in a rare moment of levity by the men in the mirror sunglasses.

Now, new emails reveal a scramble within the Hillary campaign to address the rumors of Bill’s “Energizer” mistress.  The first email regarding the “Energizer” surfaced in February 2014 when the Washington Post (of course) indirectly tipped off the Clinton campaign that the New York Times was tracking down rumors that Bill had a “roommate in Chappy.”

Energizer

Of course, the New York Times never published the article presumably because they figured it would have been “inconvenient” for Hillary’s presidential ambitions.  That said, per the email below, the Daily Mail did decide to publish the rumors a few months later in July 2014 which left Cheryl Mills very curious over who the “Energiser” was who had been “Clinton’s secret lover.”

Energizer

After receiving the news from Cheryl Mills, John Podesta decided to loop in Tina Flournoy, President Clinton’s Chief of Staff.  Unfortunately, Flournoy was smart enough to take the conversation offline and suggested a phone call to follow up.

Energizer

Of course, as the Daily Mail pointed out recently, Bill has a “complicated” past with the “Energizer” that includes a $2mm payment from the Clinton Global Initiative to her “home insulation business” and curious circumstances surrounding an $812,000 government contract awarded to her by Energy Secretary Stephen Chu.

Mother-of-three McMahon has spent the past week dodging questions about how a home insulation business she part owns landed a massive donation through the Clinton Global Initiative.

The Initiative works as a non-profit ‘matchmaker’, lining up philanthropists and charitable investors with organizations fighting poverty and other global challenges.

But in a highly unusual move, in 2010 it helped secure a commitment of $2million for Energy Pioneer Solutions, a private, for-profit home insulation firm run by McMahon and other alleged Clinton allies.

Clinton is also said to have personally intervened with then Energy Secretary Stephen Chu, according to The Wall Street Journal, helping the firm land a further $812,000 government grant.

It’s too bad the campaign had to come between them…seems like they made a great pair.
