Retail credit card spending in New Zealand was up a seasonally adjusted 0.3 percent on month in November.

That was shy of expectations for an increase of 0.4 percent following the flat reading in October.

Transactions in the core retail industries advanced 0.3 percent.

Overall card spending was up 0.2 percent following the flat reading in the previous month.
