FXStreet (Mumbai) – Speaking to CNBC “Squawk Box” on Wednesday, Federal Reserve (Fed) Governor Jerome Powell noted that there is nothing decided whether or not Fed would hike rates in September.

He further added that Fed must wait and see economic data before making decision on Sept rates lift-off.

Fed voting-member Powell noted ‘Time is clearly coming’ to raise rates; economic tests still need to be met.”

Mr. Powell’s comments comes a day after Atlanta Fed President Dennis Lockhart, also a Fed voting member, indicated support for a rate hike at next month.
