Norway’s unemployment rate held steady in November, in line with expectations, data from Statistics Norway revealed Wednesday.
The seasonally adjusted jobless rate came in at 4.6 percent in November, the same rate as in August. The figure was also matched with consensus estimate.
There were 127,000 unemployed persons in November, down 4,000 from August.
The rate for November indicates the average of October to December period and the August figure reflects July to September period.
Taking the LFS error margin into account, the number of employed persons has remained unchanged throughout 2015, the agency said.
