Exclusive: Saudi Arabia, Russia agreed in September to lift oil output
One could make a solid argument that the Axis of control for global supply is moving away from OPEC and rests in the hands of the world colossal mega-producer Saudi Arabia -Russia and US Oil, whose interests will be championed by non-other than President Trump. Something does sound odd about this headline. And while I could be reading far too much into it, but if this the case, it could be the ultimate marginalisation of OPEC nations, which in my view is not the most stabilising of narratives for the Middle East powder keg.
In the meantime, this headline could take the wind out of the market sails until some definitive clarity is offered up
