The Philippines posted a merchandise trade deficit of $555 million in June, the government said on Tuesday.
That follows the downwardly revised $507 million surplus in May (originally 509 million).
Imports were worth $5.92 billion, up from $4.39 billion in the previous month.
Exports came in at $5.36 billion, up from $4.90 billion a month earlier.
