Polish jobless rate is expected to have declined in April. The fall is likely to be due to seasonal factors. The unemployment rate is likely to have fallen to 9.6%, the lowest level since 1991, said Societe Generale in a research report. Last month, the total number of jobless people fell 76,700 and there were reportedly 139,100 job offers.
The jobless rate is expected to continue declining in the coming months, indicating the positive trend in the labor market, noted Societe Generale. There is likelihood that the unemployment rate might fall lower than 9% by late 2016. The jobless rate gauged through LFS methodology is lower. In March, the unemployment rate gauged via LFS methodology was 6.8%.
