Portugal’s economy stagnated in the third quarter after expanding in previous five quarters, latest data from Statistics Portugal showed Monday.
Gross domestic production was unchanged from the second quarter, when the economy expanded 0.5 percent.
Year-on-year, GDP grew 1.4 percent annually in the third quarter following 1.6 percent increase in the previous three months.
The preliminary estimates released on November 13 were thus confirmed.
