The U.K. consumer and producer price inflation report for August and DCLG house prices for July have been released at 4:30 am ET Tuesday. Following these data, the pound climbed against its major rivals.
The pound was trading at 1.5455 against the greenback, 184.63 against the yen, 0.7315 against the euro and 1.4990 against the franc around 4:34 am ET.
