At 4:30 am ET Friday, the Office for National Statistics issued revised U.K. quarterly national accounts for the second quarter. Following the data, the pound recovered from its early lows against the other major currencies.
The pound was trading at 1.5426 against the greenback, 1.4820 against the franc, 186.39 against the yen and 0.7324 against the euro around 4:33 am ET.
