The Markit/CIPS UK manufacturing PMI for December and British Bankers Association’s mortgage approvals for November have been released at 4:30 am ET Monday. Following these reports, the pound edged down against its major rivals.
The pound was trading at 1.4764 against the greenback, 0.7394 against the euro, 175.76 against the yen and 1.4709 against the franc around 4:31 am ET.
