Online retailer Amazon is on the final stages of launching its own music streaming subscription service. People familiar with the matter told Reuters that the new venture is set to enter the market in late summer or early fall.

The new service adds another player in the music streaming industry dominated by Apple Music and Spotify. Similar to the two’s prices, Amazon will offer its service for $9.99 a month and will carry a “competitive catalog of songs.” The sources said that it aims to boost sales of Amazon Echo, the company’s own speaker that works with voice commands.
