Anadarko Petroleum Corp posted a quarterly loss, compared to a profit last year, hurt by a decline in crude prices.
The oil and natural gas company posted a net loss of $2.24 billion, or $4.41 per share, for the 3rd-quarted ended Sept. 30.
Anadarko had a profit of $1.09 billion, or $2.12 per share last year.
