Grupo BTG Pactual SA appointed Persio Arida as chief executive officer on a temporary basis after CEO and controlling shareholder André Esteves was arrested on Wednesday. Currently, Arida is the chairman of asset management division of BTG Pactual, in which he is a founding partner.
