India’s Prime Minister Narendra Modi said the plan of India to acquire Toshiba Corp’s Westinghouse Electric’s nuclear reactors marks a new era in the nuclear and scientific cooperation with the U.S.

At the U.S. India Business Council-organized event, the Indian prime minister said, “In the field of nuclear energy, we are purchasing six nuclear reactors from Westinghouse, which will mark a new era in our nuclear and scientific cooperation”.
