Italian lender Intesa Sanpaolo SpA has reached a deal to sell its Stefi and Intesa Sanpaolo Card payment units to a group including Bain Capital and Advent International for $1.2 billion.
A statement published by Sanpaolo said the deal, which is expected to be done by the end of this year, would give the company a gain of 895 million euros.
