LendingClub said the filing of its first-quarter report will be postponed as Chief Executive Renaud Laplanche resigned on May 6.

The resignation came after an internal investigation found that the online lender had knowingly sold an investor $22 million of loans that the investor did not want.

The company said the report will be filed on or before May 16.

Shares at LendingClub have fallen 42.3% since May 9, when it announced Laplanche’s resignation.
