Petrobras Chief Executive Pedro Parente pledged to continue the investigation on the corruption scandal in the firm, saying the board fully supports the move.

The new Petrobras boss said a small percentage of Petrobras workers were liable for the scheme over the past two years, while most of the employees are honest.

Parente ruled out the possibility of a bailout and wants to ditch the company’s assets. However, he has not tackled selling their Braskem SA stake, the entity where Petrobras is the second biggest investor.

Brazilian President Michel Temer named Parente to overturn Petrobras which has been plagued by huge debt loan and wrongdoing.
