The Swiss franc was modestly changed as Switzerland’s manufacturing displayed signs of recuperation.
According to Swiss SVME purchasing managers’ association and Credit Suisse, Swiss Purchasing Manager’s Index (PMI) for the manufacturing sector climbed to 49.4 points in May from 52.3 in April.
The franc closed at 1.0333 per euro, 0.9462 per US dollar, and 1.4447 per British pound. Against the Japanese yen, the currency stood at ¥131.17.
