Greece is still negotiating with its partners and the International Monetary Fund over reforms required to access the remaining bailout funds before it runs out of money and loses its capacity to settle its debt.

The greenback traded at $1.0739 per euro. Against the Japanese yen, the currency was at ¥119.29.

Previously, IMF Managing Director Christine Lagarde warned Greek Finance Minister Yanis Varoufakis the country had to speed up its reforms as Greece was running out of time to settle its debt.
