This is still the beginning of the shale revolution
An Apache Corp of a 3 billion barrel oil find in western Texas today is a reminder that shale is still in its infancy. The home base of the industry is Texas and they’ve still barely tapped what’s there. Costs are going down all the time and efficiency is improve. It’s technology that still hasn’t really been exported to the rest of the world.
