Sachin Tendulkar and Shane Warne Promote Cricket in the USA
To help promote the game of cricket in the United States, the “Cricket All-Stars” announced today that the first 1,000 cricket players at the school, university or club level who apply will be entitled to a complimentary ticket to any of the games being played in New York City, Houston and Los Angeles.
The 1,000 tickets will be issued on a first come first served basis. Players, schools, universities and clubs interested in taking part in this opportunity can contact Suru Nayak at [email protected].
The “Cricket All-Stars” kicks off on November 7 at Citi Field in New York City, then heads to Minute Maid Park in Houston on November 11, and culminates on November 14 at Dodger Stadium in Los Angeles. Indian batsman Sachin Tendulkar and Australian spinner Shane Warne will each captain the teams which will feature some of the best players to ever play cricket.
In addition to providing high quality entertainment to cricket fans in America, one of the main objectives of the “Cricket All-Stars” tour is to help develop cricket in the US.
