– Ex-autos 0.5% vs 0.4% exp m/m. Prior -0.1%. Revised to -0.2%
– Ex-autos & gas 0.3% vs 0.3% exp m/m. Prior -0.1%. Revised to 0.0%
More or less bang on what was expected. Core sales are probably the most disappointing aspect of the report. On a glance across this and the PPI, the core PPI jump might just steal the show.
