Slovakia’s industrial production growth eased in October after strong improvement in the previous month, data from the Statistical Office of the Slovak Republic showed Thursday.
Industrial production grew a working-day adjusted 4.1 percent annually following a 7.2 percent rise in September. In August, production increased just 0.5 percent.
Manufacturing output rose 4.3 percent, while mining and quarrying production declined 3.8 percent. Utility sector output grew 4.3 percent.
On a seasonally adjusted basis, industrial production decreased 0.3 percent in October from the previous month.
Separate data from the agency showed that construction output grew 28.7 percent year-on-year in October after 25.3 percent growth in September.
Compared to the previous month, construction output rose 2.5 percent.
