Slovenia’s output prices increased for the fifth straight month in June, but at a slower rate than the previous month, figures from the Statistical Office of the Republic of Slovenia showed Tuesday.
Output prices rose 0.4 percent year-over-year in June, slower than May’s 0.6 percent increase. In June 2014, producer prices had fallen 0.9 percent.
Foreign market output prices increased by 1.0 percent, while prices on the domestic market declined by 0.2 percent.
Price growth in manufacturing sector slowed to 0.7 percent from 0.9 percent, while a fall in utilities sector prices slowed to 5.8 percent from 6 percent. At the same time, a fall in mining and quarrying sector prices steepened to 0.7 percent from 0.5 percent.
However, output prices decreased 0.2 percent month-on-month in June, slightly faster than a 0.1 percent decline in the previous month. Foreign market prices decreased by 0.3 percent, while domestic market prices remained stable in June.
