Slovenia’s unemployment rate declined for the second straight month in March, final figures from the Statistical Office of the Republic of Slovenia showed Monday.
The registered unemployment rate fell to 12.8 percent in March from 13.3 percent in the previous month. In the same month of the previous year, the jobless rate was 13.9 percent.
The number of registered unemployed persons decreased to 118,099 in March from 122,552 in the preceding month. A year ago, the jobless figure totaled 126,730.
Meanwhile, the number of employed people climbed by 5,110 to 802,466 in March from 797,356 in February.
