As expected, in the opening of its last episode, “Saturday Night Live” mocked the second debate between presidential rivals Hillary Clinton and Donald Trump, having found that niche particularly delightful to advertisers and auidences. “Hello, and welcome to the second and worst-ever presidential debate,” moderator “Martha Raddatz” says before she and “Anderson Cooper” do shots.
While not nearly as funny as the previously posted recap of the second debate “for dummies” courtesy of Tim Urban (anyone who has not read it yet is urged to do so immediately), the show also played up the meme sparked by Trump “lurking behind Clinton” during the town hall debate as well as the transtiroty internet sensation Ken Bone. “Good evening, my question is for Hillary,” an audience member asks at the end of the segment. “Tonight, Donald Trump said you should be in jail. He said you have hate in your heart and he followed you around the stage like a shark.
“So my question is: What do you like about him?”
“Well, this one’s actually easy,” Kate McKinnon as Hillary Clinton says. “Donald Trump and I disagree on just about everything. But I do like how generous he is. Just last Friday, he handed me this election.”
Anyone who missed the show, can watch the full “debate” below.
Earlier this morning, Trump expressed his displeasure with the SNL skit, saying he “watched Saturday Night Live hit job on me.Time to retire the boring and unfunny show. Alec Baldwin portrayal stinks. Media rigging election!”

Meanwhile, Trump continued on Twitter, accusing the media of “rigging the elections” which appears to have become a popular refrain for his public soundbites.
Polls close, but can you believe I lost large numbers of women voters based on made up events THAT NEVER HAPPENED. Media rigging election!

Election is being rigged by the media, in a coordinated effort with the Clinton campaign, by putting stories that never happened into news!
